Tandem Créatif est une rencontre d’un nouveau genre, un espace d’échange créatif où des artistes émergents et professionnels se rencontrent. Jusqu’ici, rien de nouveau, sauf que Tandem Créatif s’adresse à des artistes émergents qui créent quotidiennement avec leur différence : la déficience intellectuelle. Lors des rencontres, destinées tant à co-créer qu’à échanger sur leur pratique, chaque tandem est accompagné par un médiateur qui assure le dialogue entre les deux artistes.
Tandem Créatif est une collaboration entre Exeko et articule. Initiateur du projet, Exeko est un organisme à but non lucratif, basé à Montréal, dont la mission est de favoriser, par la culture et l’éducation, l’inclusion et le développement des populations les plus marginalisées. http://www.exeko.org/

Tandem Créatif brings people together in an innovative way. It is a place where creative exchanges can take place between emerging and professional artists. So far, nothing seems new, except that the emerging artists participating to Tandem Créatif create with their difference: an intellectual disability.
